The combination of apricots with oranges is not the most obvious, especially in winter preparations. But in fact, such a compote only benefits from an interesting addition of flavors. I recommend definitely rolling up a couple of jars on occasion.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Disassemble the apricots into halves and put them in sterile jars.
Pour boiling water over them and leave for 10 minutes under the lid.
Drain the water, boil it again, pour it again for 10 minutes, and drain again.
Add sugar, orange juice and zest to the water, bring the syrup to a boil, boil for a couple of minutes and strain.
Pour the apricots again and roll up the compote.
