
Black currant jelly with starch can serve as a wonderful alternative to carbonated and other sweet drinks. It does not contain artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. And yet – it is incredibly easy to prepare, no more difficult than any compote.
Ingredients
- Black Currant - 400 g
- Water - 2 l
- Starch - 3 tbsp.l .
- Sugar - 120 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Grind the currants through a sieve.
Add sugar to the cake, pour water and boil for 15 minutes.
Strain the broth and bring it to a boil again.
Dissolve the starch in the currant juice and slowly pour into the broth, stirring constantly.
Boil the jelly for another 3 minutes, continuing to stir.
