When there is no time for a complex dish, a proven recipe for lazy cabbage rolls comes to the rescue. The process is surprisingly simple: mix all the ingredients together with cabbage and form identical balls. If desired, onions and carrots can not even be fried!
Ingredients
- Cabbage (white) – 250 g
- Minced pork - 400 g
- Steamed rice - 250 g
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Tomato juice - 150 ml
- Sour cream - 2 tbsp.l.
- Water - 300 ml
- Vegetable oil - 50 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the rice under running water, pour boiling water and leave under the lid for 15 minutes.

Chop the cabbage, put it in a bowl and pour boiling water.

Peel the onion and finely chop it, grate the carrots.

Fry onions and carrots until golden brown in a hot frying pan with oil.

In a deep bowl, mix the minced meat, rice, cabbage, egg, roast, salt and ground black pepper. Knead everything with your hands until smooth.

Form balls of the same size from the resulting mass. To prevent the minced meat from sticking, moisten your hands with cold water.

In a separate container, mix sour cream, tomato juice and hot water.

Put the balls on a greased frying pan, pour the sour cream-tomato mixture and simmer for 40 minutes under the lid.

Put the finished cabbage rolls on a plate and sprinkle with chopped herbs to taste.
