
I share a proven recipe for millet porridge, which has helped me out more than once. This side dish goes well with fish, meat, sausages and cutlets. Add a light vegetable salad and a full lunch is ready!
Ingredients
- Millet - 300 g
- Water - 1 l
- Salt - to taste
- Butter - 50 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Thoroughly rinse the millet under running water.

Pour water into a saucepan with a thick bottom, add salt and bring to a boil.

Pour in the washed millet, cover with a lid and cook for 40 minutes on very low heat.

Add butter, stir and remove from heat. Wrap the pan with a warm towel for half an hour.
