
Red Velvet muffins are a bright and delicious dessert that is quite simple to prepare. To get a beautiful baking color, you need to take care of the dye in advance – it must be of good quality.
Ingredients
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Sugar - 70 g
- Vegetable oil - 70 ml
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Kefir - 100 ml
- Food coloring (red) – 1 tbsp.l.
- Cocoa (powder) – 2 tbsp.l.
- Flour (wheat) – 180 g
- Baking powder - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Beat a chicken egg into a bowl, add kefir, vegetable oil and dye.

Carefully whisk the liquid ingredients with a whisk.

In a deep separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients using a whisk.

Combine the dry and wet ingredients, stir until a homogeneous thick dough without lumps is obtained.

Put the dough in a cooking bag – it's more convenient to distribute the dough into molds.

Place the muffin capsules in the molds, fill them with dough, not reaching the very top.

Bake the dessert at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden skewer – it should be dry at the exit. Before serving, let the muffins cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar or make cream caps.
