The season of fresh berries is so pleasant and so short. Of course, I want to prepare them for the future, because it is simply impossible to find wild currants in winter. I share a proven jam recipe, in which the taste of the berry is fully preserved.
Ingredients
- Currant (wild) – 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Water - 100 ml
- Lemon juice - 2 tbsp.l .
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash and sort the currants.
Add water and lemon juice, and cover with sugar.
Leave it for a couple of hours.
Bring the billet to a boil and boil the jam for 20-30 minutes on low heat, stirring.
Roll it up in sterile jars.
