
If you don't want to waste energy on sterilization, but have already set up to cook compote for the winter, catch a good alternative. The recipe uses a plum, but if desired, you can add other fruits or berries to it.
Ingredients
- Plums - 800 g
- Sugar - 250 g
- Water - 2.5 l
- Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the plums and put them in jars.
Pour boiling water, cover with lids and leave for 15 minutes.
Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar and boil again.
Add citric acid, mix and pour the plums again.
Roll up the compote in jars.
