I love plum tkemali of all kinds. One of my favorite options is this Georgian tkemali from yellow cherry plum. Further in the recipe I will tell you in great detail how to cook it so that the spicy sauce pleases you throughout the cold season.
Ingredients
- Cherry Plum (yellow) – 1 kg
- Hop-suneli - 1 art.l.
- Ground red pepper - 0.5 tsp.
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Sugar - 3 art.l.
- Salt - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put the cherry plum in a saucepan, mash it slightly, bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
Grind the cherry plum through a sieve. Add the chopped garlic and the rest of the ingredients.
Bring the tkemali to a boil again, boil for another 5 minutes and put it in sterilized jars.
