At the height of the season of fresh fruits and berries, I really like to roll not only jam and compotes, but also homemade juice into jars. Today I will tell you how to make such juice from red currants so that it will stand all winter without sterilization. Just keep it in a cool place.
Ingredients
- Red Currant - 2 kg
- Sugar - 300 g
- Water - 1 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pick the currant, cut it off from the twigs and fill it with water.
Bring to a boil, boil for 5 minutes and rub through a sieve.
Add sugar to taste and boil the juice for another 2-3 minutes after boiling.
Pour it into clean, dry jars and roll it up.
