Green gooseberry is not the only variety of this berry. Today I would like to talk to you about black gooseberries. Or rather, about homemade jam, which turns out to be especially successful from it. I share a recipe proven over the years!
Ingredients
- Gooseberry (black) – 1 kg
- Sugar - 800 g
- Orange peel - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut off the gooseberry tails and pass the berries through a meat grinder.
Add sugar and bring to a boil.
Add the zest and boil the jam for 20 minutes on low heat.
Roll it up in sterilized jars for the winter.
