Italian cuisine is famous for delicious sauces. They are able to turn any dish into a real masterpiece! Today I want to elaborate on the recipe for sugo sauce. It is prepared from tomatoes with the addition of bell pepper, onion and garlic.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 2 kg
 - Bell pepper - 400 g
 - Garlic - 50 g
 - Onion (medium) – 3 pieces
 - Apple cider vinegar - 60 ml
 - Olive oil - 3 tbsp.l.
 - Sugar - 140 g
 - Salt - 70 g
 
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel and slice the tomatoes.
Chop the peeled bell pepper, garlic and onion.
Fry the onion and garlic in oil for 3 minutes.
Add the bell pepper and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes, sugar, salt and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
Wipe the resulting mass through a sieve.
Return to the fire, boil for another 2 minutes and pour in the vinegar.
Put the hot sauce in jars, roll it up and leave it warm for a day.
