Layer cake with salmon and broccoli is a delicious and easy-to-prepare pastry. It is convenient if there is ready-made homemade or store-bought frozen dough. I share a step-by-step recipe with a photo!
Ingredients
- Broccoli - 150 g
- Cauliflower - 50 g
- Salmon (chilled) – 200 g
- Cheese - 70 g
- Puff pastry - 120 g
- Egg yolks - 1 piece
- Sesame - 1 tbsp.l.
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the broccoli and cauliflower inflorescences and boil in salted water for 7 minutes, then drain.

Roll out the dough into a flat cake (if it is not rolled in advance) and put half of it in a baking dish. Form the sides.

Lay out the first layer of both types of cabbage.

Cut the salmon into small pieces, simultaneously removing the bones. Make the next layer. If the cheese is unsalted, then lightly salt the fish.

Crumble the cheese and make the next layer.

Cover the filling with the second half of the dough and pinch the edges. Make incisions on top. Brush the dough with yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake for 20 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees under foil, and then 10 minutes without foil. Let cool slightly, cut into pieces and serve the pie on the table.
