Enchilada is prepared very simply and is often used for various dishes of Mexican cuisine. This is a very flavorful supplement that is ideal for rice, meat, fish, vegetables or snacks. If desired, you can make the sauce spicy if you add a little red ground pepper.
Ingredients
- Flour (wheat) – 2 tbsp.l.
- Tomato paste - 1,5 tbsp.l.
- Water - 100 ml
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Cumin (ground) – 2 pinches
- Garlic (ground) – 2 pinches
- Ground coriander - 2 pinches
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pour wheat flour into a hot dry frying pan and fry for 3 minutes, stirring.

Add tomato paste and pour in water. Continue to warm up and stir so that there are no flour lumps left.

After another 5 minutes, add salt, dried ground garlic, cumin and coriander. For sharpness, add ground red pepper (optional). Stir and cook for a couple more minutes.

Pour the finished sauce into a saucepan or a bowl. It can be served immediately on the table or used for further preparation of more complex dishes.
